This lower unit was removed from a freshwater setup, is in excellent used condition, and is ready for installation. All you have to do is add oil! We took the time to professionally clean and inspect this item to give you confidence in your purchase. The unit spins and shifts smoothly with no binding and the propeller shaft in straight.  When drained of oil, the oil was clean and free of metal and water. The skeg has been ground a little however, it should not affect performance. It has been fully resealed and pressure checked.  Please refer to the photos to verify both what all is included in this listing and the condition that they are in.

Please note - we have drained this unit of all oil prior to shipping and oil will need to be added prior to use.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.

We offer a 45 day return policy so you can purchase them with confidence. If you have any issues with the product, please reach out to us and we would be happy to help resolve any issue that may occur. Please be absolutely sure this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing. 

If you purchase this item incorrectly or change your mind and no longer want the item, we will accept a return within 45 days however, we will charge our initial shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee. If you have any questions, please contact us.
