FITMENT
2009 and up Yamaha VF200, VF225, and VF250 V MAX SHO 4-Stroke 4.2L V6 outboards.
Buyer beware — SHO casting only, NOT a universal V6 fit
The 6CB casting fits the V MAX SHO 4-Stroke platform only. It does NOT fit:
- F225, F250, F300 standard 4-Stroke (uses 6CE casting)
- LF225, LF250, LF300 counter-rotating (uses 6CF casting)
- Yamaha 300 HP — no 6CB casting exists for 300 HP
- VZ200, VZ225, VZ250 VMAX HPDI 2-Stroke 3.3L (different family entirely)
