| Additional Info | This Thermostat housing was removed from a freshwater engine and is in good condition with plenty of life. These are cast so there is standard pitting and light rust but this part still has a ton of life left in it. I don't find it in the schematic but there's some type of sensor, probably a temp sensor, coming out of the end. You can see where the red wire with bullet connector is. That sensor is in good condition but has a bare spot on the wire, right at the base. It's threaded into the housing and can be removed if necessary. |
| Fits: | Yamaha schematics for this engine are essentially worthless. This part was removed from a 1993 made L4 3.0 engine. It's my belief that this will fit all of the L4 3.0's at a minimum but if for any reason you are unsure of fit, please verify that this will work wth your Yamaha dealer. |
