This is a short lower unit, meaning that the driveshaft measures 14 3/4" from the top of the waterpump to the top of the driveshaft. This item was drained and free of metal or water in the gearcase. It was also pressure tested and is holding air flawlessly. This lower unit is shifting in and out of gear perfectly. This would make an excellent replacement for your engine if it's listed above. This lower unit is guaranteed to be in good, working condition.
