This Yamaha lower unit is in excellent condition and ready for use. The paint on the unit is in a little banged up, however, that is entirely cosmetic. The skeg is in great condition and is not bent or damaged. From the top of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 24-1/8" long and has 20 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. All the splines are in great shape and are not twisted or damaged. The oil was clean and free of metal or water. This does come with the trim tab and intake screens as well. Due to shipping restrictions, the unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty, you will not find a better deal on an OEM part. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

 You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
