This Yamaha lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in good condition. From the top of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 20-3/4" long and has 14 splines. The propeller shaft 13 splines. This unit shifts and spins smoothly with no binding, the prop shaft is straight. The driveshaft splines are showing slight wear. The paint is a little banged up. The gears and clutch are in excellent condition showing little wear. This unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
