We as a business have brought in over 400 hoods in recent months. They are, in large part, completely unidentified. In rare cases, we will recognize them and venture a guess as to exactly what year of motor they were removed from but in much larger part, we will simply take measurements and leave the question of whether or not it will fit to your discretion. We are trying very hard to help with the measurements but will not take returns on hoods that do not fit, so please follow the old saying-measure twice...cut (or purchase) once. If you need additional measurements, pictures, etc...please don't hesitate to ask.
Here is an Evinrude 25 hp hood. There are scratches in the paint but nothing that goes through to the fiberglass. There are some spots on it but it kind of looks like water spots. The inside in good condition. This would make a great replacement for your outboard.
This hood fits 1996-2001 3 cylinder ONLY 25 and 35 HP electric start engines.
