This Mercury Mariner switchbox was removed from a freshwater engine and is in excellent condition. As a rule, switchboxes cannot be tested. The switchbox shows no signs of damage, overheating, or saltwater corrosion. The threads are in good condition on the studs and this should work perfectly. There are no cracks or breaks in the switchbox. This will make a great replacement part for your outboard!
At this time, we are unable to bench test this item. We are now offering a 1 year mechanical warranty for this part. Should you have any problems within this time frame, we will simply refund/replace the item as necessary. Please note that if this is ordered incorrectly, we will NOT accept returns on the parts.
