| Additional Info | This SEI forward and pinion gear was removed from a freshwater engine and is in good condition. There are 28 teeth on the forward gear and has a 6 jaw plate. We have professionally cleaned, polished, and inspected this gear to guarantee it to be in great, working condition. Upon inspection, we did notice that on the face of the forward gear on some of the teeth, there is some minor pitting, but the teeth are entirely intact and are not chipped or broken. The pinion gear's teeth are flawless and do not have any pitting. All the splines on the pinion gear are in excellent shape and are not chipped or cracked. Please see pictures. This gear is designed for the Mercury V6 motors with a 1.87:1 gear ratio. Purchase with confidence! This will make a great replacement part for your outboard!
