REBUILT! 7226A19 WMK-38-1 WMK-38 Mercury 1978-1989 Carburetor Assembly 35 40 HP

Upon inspection of this carburetor, we did notice the the black plastic nozzle is starting to crack around the edges. Please se pictures. We do recommend replacing it or using 2-part epoxy to repair it. If you would like us to repair it with epoxy, please contact us prior to purchasing and we can arrange this. 

The carburetor you are purchasing will be remanufactured and ready for installation on your engine.  It will come with new gaskets, usually a Sierra kit when available,  and any other parts as necessary.

Our goal is for you to receive this in ready to use condition.  We adjust needles to factory specs, which sometimes means you may have to make minor adjustments on your engine.  The bowl will be left off of the carburetor when it is sent, in order for you to inspect it and make sure that the needle is seating after shipping. We can provide assistance with these minor adjustments if you need help.  Please note that none of our carburetors will have hoses with them.

WE BUY CORES!

Send in a rebuildable core the same size and we will pay 25% for this core. Please contact us ahead of time and we will provide a return label if you are sending in your core.  For smaller HP cores, we will pay 20%.  If you send in a core that cannot be rebuilt, we will contact you to offer you an option to send it back but we will not buy a damaged carburetor. 

We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed. We urge you to make sure this is the exact item you need by matching the part number to what is required for your motor.
