This OMC cobra upper outdrive housing is a solid used unit.
We have taken the time to professionally open and inspected this unit, and it was in good shape!
It spins just like it should.
There are some paint issues but this is entirely cosmetic.
This may need new seals.
The gears on the inside have 21 teeth on one and 16 on the other.
They are all in great condition.
There are 17 splines on the shaft and it is a 2-ring universal joint.
There is some minor rust, but again this will not affect the performance.
Thereare small cracks in the back cover by the bolt holes (please see photos).
We have drained the unit of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.

This will come exactly as pictured and will make a good replacement.
