This is a Mallory Starter. While I realize that there are a ton of aftermarket companies making starters today, you will soon find that you get what you pay for. When replacing a starter, OEM is always best, and probably twice the price. Next, there are 3 companies that produce a decent product today for marine applications. Those are Arco, Sierra, and Mallory. The junk being sold for 98 or 99 bucks on ebay is exactly that. I've purchased that junk myself, just to find out that they don't even bother to test them off the line because that would mean they'd have to raise the prices. You'll pay more for a quality aftermarket part of for an OEM part but when you go to start your engine in the middle of the lake, it will actually start.
This part is actually in our posession, in stock. That's the only way we sell. The vast majority of our competitors today are listing things off of corporate websites because they have a dealership with those companies and can therefore order them. 2 weeks down the road, when the next guy is waiting for his part to arrive because he bought it from one of these companies, you'll already be boating.
