| Additional Info | This lower unit is in excellent condition and ready to install! This unit spins and shifts smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight. Driveshaft splines are showing slight wear. The unit was drained of all oil and there was no water or metal shavings found. Gears and clutch are in like new condition. The paint is a little beat up and there is a chip out of the skeg. There is also a little dent in the end of the bullet - please see pics for more detail. The unit was fully resealed, pressure checked, with a new impeller installed. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, it measures approximately 27-7/8" long. We have pressure checked the seals and everything withholds just like it should. The outer diameter of the bullet is 5.44". Please note that the unit has been drained of oil and this will have to be added prior to installation. We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. If you are unsure whether this is the correct lower unit and correct length driveshaft for your application please contact us and we will be happy to help you buy the correct product. This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing. To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:
You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty.
