This is a CDI Electronics 174-2075K2 CDM stator, built as an aftermarket replacement for Mercury 398-9873A22.
We are not big proponents of most aftermarket parts. CDI Electronics is the exception: a nationally recognized brand with a long, proven record of building excellent replacement parts, and not to be confused with the low-cost imports sold by many sellers today.
This one is new old stock, bought from a marine shop that closed or downsized. It has one wire cut at the plug with plenty of length left to splice, and it is priced for that. The warranty comes from us: Southcentral Outboards covers it for a full year from the date of purchase.
