This specific lower unit is in good freshwater condition. From the top of the water pump, it measures approximately 19-1/8" long. There are 4 splines on the top of the driveshaft and 13 on the propeller shaft. There are some minor dings around the edge and a small bend in the bottom of the skeg, but this will not affect the overall performance. There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint, but this is only cosmetic. The top of the intake screens do have a small opening, but are still fully functional. Please see pictures.  This does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or the propeller hardware. Also, please note that we cannot ship lower units with oil in them and this will have to be added prior to installation.  Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
