This Mercury switchbox was removed from a freshwater engine and is in great condition. We have professionally cleaned and inspected this part to guarantee it to be in great, working condition. There are not any cracks or breaks. All the plastic terminals are in good shape and are not cracked or broken. They are discolored some, but this is entirely cosmetic. The epoxy is also in great condition and does not show any signs of being overheated. Also, please note that this is an original OEM part, not an aftermarket brand. At this time, we are unable to bench test this item. We are now offering a 1 year mechanical warranty for this part. Should you have any problems within this time frame, we will simply refund/replace the item as necessary. Please note that if this is ordered incorrectly, we will NOT accept returns on the parts. | Fits: | 1970-1977 - 115 HP It may fit older engines, also, but our reference only goes back to 1970. This box should also fit the 1000SS, 1100, 1150, 1250, 1350, 1400, 950 (6 cylinder) engines from the 1960's & 1970's. We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed.
