This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine. There are some cosmetic flaws such as missing paint, but this is purely cosmetic and will not affect the overall performance. This does spin smoothly and go in and out of gear like it should. There are 8 spines on the propeller shaft and 13 teeth on the gear. All of the splines are in good condition externally on the unit. We do recomend getting a new seal kit and impeller. This is why we have this listed for parts or repair. Purchase with confidence!
