This is a nice, used cowling from a late model Mercury Mariner 40 HP engine. This is the bottom cowl for 1989-97 4 cylinder Mercury 40s. It's in good physical shape. There's some discoloration on the bottom side of the pan, maybe from grease or maybe the engine got hot. Either way, it's on the underside and you really won't even know it once it's in place. The rest of the pan may have a rub mark or minor scratch here and there but it looks great, with great paint. This will make an excellent replacement if you need one.
