For sale is a good, used lower unit from a Mercury 65, 75, 80, 85 HP 4 cylinder engine. This is a long shaft lower unit. There are scratches on both sides of the unit, and places where the paint is peeling. The skeg does have a chip in it (as shown in picture). This is a mariner gray. We drained it and it is free of any metal or water in the gear housing. We also pressure tested it and it is holding pressure flawlessly. The unit was also tested to make sure it was shifting in and out of gear properly and it was.
This lower unit will need 2 things when you order it. You will need to add oil, as it has been drained for testing and shipping, and the second thing is a new impeller, which we always recommend on any used lower unit.
If you would like a new shift rod seal and/or impeller placed in the lower unit prior to shipping, we will do so for the cost of the parts only. In other words, if you call in your order, we will charge you for the parts and throw in the labor for free. Our number is under our contact information.
