This unit is in great condition and ready for installation. There are not any cracks or breaks whatsoever. We have stripped the unit of the original paint to have it ready for a fresh coat. There was a little overspray on the propeller shaft, but this will not affect anything. From the top of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximatley 17-5/8" long and has 14 splines. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. All of the splines are in excellent shape and are not chipped, cracked, or broken in any way. Please note that we cannot ship our lower units with oil in them. This will have to be added prior to installation. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty, you will not find another better deal for an OEM part! Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
