| Condition | Good, Used Lower Unit, 2.0 to 1 gear ratio, prop shaft has 15 splines and driveshaft has 8 splines. It has been tested and will need a shift rod reseal. We have also drained it to check for water and metal in the oil and there were none. This unit shows no signs of being in saltwater whatsoever. This will be a great part for you outboard. |
| Additional Info | All lower units are tested in-house. We perform a pressure-test and we ensure that it is working in forward, reverse, and neutral. Generally speaking, lower units are mechanical, so testing is simple enough. The only thing that is not checked on lower units is the condition of the impeller. We advise changing impellers anytime you replace a lower unit. If you call in your order, we can give you a price and timeframe for a new impeller and we will install a new impeller for you at cost. This is a service to you and we are happy to provide it for no additional labor charge. Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed upon receipt. We will be happy to provide assistance with this if you have not done it before. |
