For sale is a good, used lower unit for Mercury's from 1980-1986. This is a 75, 80 or 85 hp unit. This is a long shaft lower unit. There are scratches on both sides of the unit. The bottom the skeg does have some chips on it. The unit was drained and is free of any metal or water in the gear housing. The unit was pressure tested and is holding air flawlessly. The unit was also tested to make sure it was shifting in and out of gear properly and it was. Spline count is 8/15 and the driveshaft measures 20 3/4". This would make an excellent replacement for your outboard.
