| Additional Info | This Mercury extension kit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in great condition. The paint on the driveshaft housing extension piece is in like-new condition with very minimal signs of previous use. The driveshaft in the extension kit, measures 34-1/8" from end to end and from the top of the key, it measures approximately 25-3/8" long. The driveshaft has 11/10 splines on it as well. Upon inspection, we did notice that there is some pitting towards the bottom of the shaft, but nothing that will affect the performance. The water pickup tube measures approximately 20-1/8" from end to end and the shift rod measures approximately 26-1/8" long. We have professionally cleaned and inspected this kit to guarantee it to be in great, working condition. If you didn't know this was a used kit, you would easily mistaken it for a new one. This will make a great replacement part for your outboard! |
