This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and in excellent condition. This is a counter rotation lower unit. The skeg is undamaged and there are not any cracks in the housing. This does come with the zinc anode but not the trim tab. This unit shifts smoothly with straight shafts. A new impeller was installed. There was no metal in the oil and was clean when drained. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, the driveshaft measures approximately 26-1/2" long and has 13 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. Please note that we have drained the unit of oil and this will have to be added prior to installation.

We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing.

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid.
