• This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and in excellent condition.
• This unit shifts and spins smoothly without binding
• The prop shaft is straight
• The paint is a little banged up and the skeg has been cleaned up
• The oil was dirty but showed no signs of heavy metal or water
• The gears and clutch are in great condition
• This unit is fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed.
• From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, the driveshaft measures approximately 26-3/4" long and has 13 splines.
• The propeller shaft has 15 splines.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid.
