**Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed when you receive it.

Driveshaft measures - 20-1/4" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft.
Driveshaft spline count - 13
Prop shaft spline count - 15

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.

We offer a 30 day return policy on this product so you can purchase it with confidence. **Please note that this lower unit will also fit a Force 90 HP from 1990-1997 using  6 jaw gears.**

Please note that this lower unit will also fit the 100 115 125 HP Mercury motors but this will require a propeller change as well as they have different gear ratios.
