All lower units are shipped empty. Please add oil before use. Driveshaft measures - 20-1/4" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft. This lower unit qualifies for a 1 year warranty. The warranty is validated by your core. In order to qualify for this, you must send in that core. Both shafts must spin and it must be complete. We will send a label for you to return your core in our box after receipt of the unit you’ve purchased. If you do not have a spinning core, you may call in after your purchase and buy the 1 year warranty for 10% of the purchase price. | Fits: | 1987-1997 - 100 115 125 HP - 4 cylinder models - 3 jaw clutch If you're looking this up for the 70 80 85 90 HP, you'll have noticed that the lower units are essentially identical. The difference in the 2 units is that they have different gear ratios. The 2 units are interchangeable but may require you to change propellers in order to maintain the same speeds your boat would do before. So, in short-this unit is for 100 115 125 HP 4 cylinders from 1987-1997. It will look and fit identically with the 75-90 HP 3 cylinder models in the same year, but the gear ratio is different.
