Mercury 1980-1997 20" Lower Unit 40 50 60 70 HP 2 & 3 Cylinder 1 YEAR WARRANTY

This lower unit is in great condition. We have professionally inspected this unit to guarantee it to be in great, working condition. The paint is in pretty banged up shape. The intake screens are in perfect shape and are not broken or cracked. This unit has a 2.0 to 1 gear ratio. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab, propeller or the propeller hardware. This unit has been fully resealed and has a new impeller. The gears and clutch are in good condition with the slightest bit of wear and both the driveshaft and propeller shaft have been checked for straightness. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on this lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Please add oil before installation. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
  
  

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion
