  • From the base of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 26 1/4" long. 
  • There are 8 splines on the driveshaft and 15 on the propeller shaft.
  • All the splines are in perfect shape and are not damaged in any way. P
  • lease note that this does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or the propeller hardware.

We have drained the unit of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.

This lower unit qualifies for a 6 month warranty. This unit is being sold with a 6 month working warranty that covers the gears, bearings, and shafts.  This does NOT cover seals. Fits:
XL 25" - 1976 and newer 175/200 HP - 2.4 and 2.5 L -1.87:1 gear ratio.  This lower unit will technically fit the 2.0L 135/150 Hp model as well in the same age range but those generally use a gear ratio of 2 to 1 so please be sure that 1.87 is what you want.  This lower unit was used on carburetor, EFI, and Optimax engines.  

We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed.
