This lower unit does have a 2:1 gear ratio and was removed from a freshwater engine. There are scuffs, scratches, and chips in the paint, but this is very common in lower units. This does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or propeller hardware. The shafts were checked for straightness. The oil was clean and free of heavy metal. The unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence!
