814247A3 Mercury 1988-91 20" Lower Unit V6 175 150 XR4 & Mag II 1.87:1 6 MTH WTY

This lower unit does have a 1.87:1 gear ratio and was removed from a freshwater engine. New Impeller. There are scuffs, scratches, and chips in the paint, but this is very common in lower units. There is a minor chip out of the skeg, but this is purely cosmetic. This does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or propeller hardware. This will come exactly as pictured. Holds pressure at 12 PSI. This lower unit does have a 4-1/4" small bullet. The unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence!

Driveshaft measures - 21-1/2" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft.

Prop shaft spline count - 15

To obtain the 6 month warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 6 month warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.

Please note that we will not accept returns for this item if ordered incorrectly. Please be absolutely sure this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing.
