This lower unit does have a 1.87:1 gear ratio and was removed from a freshwater engine. When we opened this up, we noticed that the gears were in great condition and the oil came out like new. This unit holds pressure and has a new impeller. Both shafts are straight, and the unit shifts and spins smoothly. There are scuffs, scratches, and chips in the paint, but this is very common in lower units. The tip of the skeg has a chip missing, see pictures. This does not come with the propeller, or propeller hardware. This does not come with the trim tab but it has the anode. This will come exactly as pictured. The unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation. This comes with a 1 YEAR WARRANTY so purcahse with confidence! General Information

| Fits: | 1976-2005 - 135 150 175 200 HP - 1.87:1 Gear Ratio If you have a V6 lower unit with a preload pin, it could only be used only from 1976-1988. If you have a lower unit that does not have a preload pin, it can be used from 1976 & Newer Please note that this lower unit has a 1.87:1 gear ratio. These can be used on a 135, 150, and 200 HP motors as well, but the propeller will need to be switched out to keep you within the reccomended RPM. We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed. We urge you to make sure this is the exact item you need by matching the part number to what is required for your motor.
