This lower unit does have a 2:1 gear ratio and was removed from a freshwater engine. There are scuffs and scratches in the paint, but this is very common in lower units. This does not come with the trim tab. From the top of the water pump to the end of the preload pin, it measures approximately 22" long and has 8 splines. There are 15 splines on the propeller shaft. All the splines are in good shape and are not cracked or damaged. There are some tooling marks on the bottom of the driveshaft where it does into the water pump, but this will not affect anything. There is a slight bend in the cavitation plate. There are some dings around the edge of the skeg and some chips out of it, but this will not affect anything. Upon inspection, we also noticed there is a crack in the water pump housing. Please see pictures. The unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.
