This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in good condition. There are not any cracks or breaks in the housing itself. There is a crack in the cavitation plate - please see photos. This unit is missing the trim tab. The paint is worn in some areas, please see pictures. Both of the shafts on this unit are straight and the unit shifts and spins like it should. The propeller shaft has 8 splines and the driveshaft has 6 splines. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, the driveshaft measures approximately 19", making this a long lower unit. We have pressure checked the unit and it does hold the pressure. We would recommend resealing this unit and installing a new impeller prior to use. Also, please note that ths unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation. This unit does have a 6 month mechanical warranty. This would cover the gears, shafts, and bearings but does not cover seals. Please note that we will not accept returns for this item if ordered incorrectly.
