Mercruiser 1965-1983 Pre-Alpha Outdrive Lower Unit 1 YEAR WARRANTY

This Mercuiser lower unit is in good condition. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 8-1/2" long and has 13 splines. The prop shaft is straight and has 13 splines. Please note that this lower unit does not come with the trim tab. There are some cosmetic flaws in the paint on the lower unit, but this will not affect the overall performance of this unit. Just add oil and this is ready to install.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
