Persan Piston Replaces Johnson Evinrude Piston .20 390982 1979-87 90 115 140+ HP

This piston is in very good condition.  As it says in the title, this is a .20 piston. This is a Persan piston; it was removed from a 150 HP 1987 Evinrude motor.  Casting inside the piston reads Persan and 354-A. You will receive everything pictured (piston, piston rings, wrist pin, needle bearings).  Rest assured pistons don’t come out of an engine looking like this.  After removal, the piston was disassembled, the rings removed, and we vapor blasted the piston until it looks like new.  Most importantly, we’ve provided a piston that you can actually inspect before you put it into a very expensive rebuild job!  Vapor blasting provides a glass-smooth finish that is not only exceptionally clean, but will resist future carbon buildup as well or better than the original manufacturer specs.  The standards in this shop are second to none.  Any piston with scoring on the skirt of the piston is an immediate reject.  You may occasionally see a minor rub mark but overall, we put out pistons that are clean enough to be considered like-new.
