2006&UP Evinrude Mag II Magnum 2 Counter Lower Unit 150 175 200 225 6 Month WTY

This is a Mag II counter rotating lower unit.  It's in perfect working condition.  Unfortunately, when it came in my mechanic didn't know how to pull apart a counter rotating lower unit so he torched it to death, thinking that the carrier was stuck.  That's why the paint looks burnt.  There's no issue with the unit. 
In any case, the unit is fine.  It shifts and spins correctly.  There was no metal in the oil.  It currently has a 25" shaft installed but if you know these units, you know that 2 piece shaft can be changed in about 5 minutes to a 20" or whatever you need. 

We'll sell this with a 6 month warranty on the unit with the return of a spinning core.  I'd advise that you pressure check it and plan on either a reseal, impeller, or both.   

Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped without gear oil, please add before use. Purchase with confidence! 

Criteria to validate your 6 month warranty:

• You must return a spinning core to claim this warranty.  We will pay for the return on the core lower unit
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core.
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY.
• Warranty begins from date of purchase.

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core.
