This specific lower unit is in excellent condition.  The paint is not perfect but this is entirely cosmetic. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 18-1/4" long and has 20 splines. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. This is the batwing style housing. As seen in the pictures, this does come with the skeg guard. We have vapor blasted all the carbon out of the unit for better inspections. There is some minor pitting when looking down into the unit, but this will not affect the peformance. Please do not forget to add oil before use. We cannot ship our lower units with oil in them so it has been drained. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!

  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
