For sale is a good, used Johnson Evinrude Lower Unit. There is some minor scratches to the paint. It appears that this lower unit may have been stuck when being removed and may have possibly been hit with a hammer. There are a couple of chips and one cracked spot (pictured) on the upper fin above the cavitation plate. None of this will affect the performance in any way. The spline count on the prop shaft is 14 and the driveshaft is 14. This is a long shaft. The unit was drained and is free of any metal or water in the gear housing. It has also been opened and the gears inspected. They are all in great condition. The unit was pressure tested. The unit was also tested to make sure it was shifting in and out of gear properly and it was. This would make an excellent replacement for your outboard.
We strongly suggest changing the impeller before installing any lower unit. This can be done in our shop if you would like. We will only charge you the cost of the impeller, no labor, you can contact us for a cost and timeframe before you purchase this unit. All lower units are shipped without oil. You will need to add oil as well before installing.
