This listing is for a good, OMC lower unit used from 1973 through mid-1975 on 50, 60, 70, and 75 HP 3 cylinder motors. The paint isa very unique green and blue mixture. There are a few scratches on the unit.There is a chip missing out of theone side ofthe bottom of the cavitation plate. The skeg has some scratches. We have cleaned them up butno surprises. The unit has been drained and there were no metal shavings on the magnet. The unit has been pressure tested and and we found that it is holding pressure flawlessly. It's working smoothly in and out of gearand it isa reverse shift lower unit.It will make an excellent replacement for your motor.

On this unit, down is forward. In other words, if you shift the shift rod down, the motor goes into forward.
