| Condition | Great mechanical condition. This unit works perfectly, holds pressure during a pressure test, and turns over smoothly. Bearings, gears, seals, shafts, etc...all seem to be in flawless working condition and this unit is ready for use. |
| Additional Info | All lower units are tested in-house. We perform a pressure-test and we ensure that it is working in forward, reverse, and neutral. Generally speaking, lower units are mechanical, so testing is simple enough. The only thing that is not checked on lower units is the condition of the impeller. We advise changing impellers anytime you replace a lower unit. If you call in your order, we can give you a price and timeframe for a new impeller and we will install a new impeller for you at cost. This is a service to you and we are happy to provide it for no additional labor charge. Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed upon receipt. We will be happy to provide assistance with this if you have not done it before. |
| Fits: | 1973-mid 1975 3 cylinder Johnson/Evinrude outboards. Please remember that on this unit, pushing the shift rod down will put it in forward. On later models, it's opposite. |
