This specific lower unit is in excellent condition and is ready for installation. From the top of the water pump housing, the driveshaft measures approximately 21-3/4" long and has 14 splines. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. All of the splines are in great condition and are not chipped or cracked. As seen in the pictures, there is some minor pitting next to the water pump, but this will not affect anything. The paint and cavitation plate are worn in some areas, but this is entirely cosmetic. We have also taken the time to professionally clean and inspect this part to guarantee this to be in great, working condition. All you have to do is add oil and go boating! Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Purchase with confidence!
