| Additional Info | This lower unit has been pressure-checked and leaks around the shift rod seal. Beyond that, it's in good, freshwater condition.It is manual shift and shifts smoothly in and out of gear.The cavitation plate, extension, etc...are all in good condition, as is the skeg. The splines on the driveshaft are in good condition. I'd asess the paint as being in pretty good shape for its age. As with any lower unit this age, an impeller kit is advised prior to use, and you'll need to add new oil. The only thing that is not checked on lower units is the condition of the impeller. We advise changing impellers anytime you replace a lower unit. If you call in your order, we can give you a price and timeframe for a new impeller and we will install a new impeller for you at cost. This is a service to you and we are happy to provide it for no additional labor charge. |
| Fits: | Unknown. It came from a 1961 V4, which is an 75 HP. I don't have cross-references going that far back, so I will not pretend to know what all it fits. If you have your model number, I can try and cross-reference different key parts from each unit to tell if it will fit your engine. |
