| Additional Info | This lower unit has been pressure-checked and leaks around the shift rod seal. åÊBeyond that, it's in good, freshwater condition. åÊIt is manual shift and shifts smoothly in and out of gear. åÊThe cavitation plate, extension, etc...are all in good condition, as is the skeg. åÊThe splines on the driveshaft are in good condition. åÊI'd asess the paint as fair. åÊIf it were my lower unit, I think I'd clean it up and repaint it. åÊ As with any lower unit this age, an impeller kit is advised prior to use, and you'll need to add new oil. The only thing that is not checked on lower units is the condition of the impeller. We advise changing impellers anytime you replace a lower unit. If you call in your order, we can give you a price and timeframe for a new impeller and we will install a new impeller for you at cost. This is a service to you and we are happy to provide it for no additional labor charge. |
