This Johnson Evinrude lower unit is in excellent condition and is ready for installation. Upon inspection of the unit, this has a small crack in the skeg, please see pictures. There is also a slight bend to it, but this is entirely cosmetic. This does have pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate to add a planing fin. This does come with the trim tab. From the base of the water pump to the top of the shaft, it measures appoximately 20" long and has 14 splines. The propeller shaft also has 14 splines. The unit has been drained of oil due to shipping restrictions and will need oil added prior to installation. Given you unprecedented 1-year warranty, you won't find another deal like this. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:
  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
