| Additional Info | This VRO was removed from a freshwater engine. There are no cracks or breaks in the plastic. The wires have no cuts, burns, or splices. We have multiple pumps available, generally, so yours may vary cosmetically to the one in the picture, within reason. They are all mechanically identical with brown 90 degree fitting on top. First of all, VRO Pumps are more interchangeable than most people realize. If the number of wires on the plug are the same as your old one and the hose connections are the same as your old one, they will interchange. Should they not interchange for one reason or another, all you'll need to do is email or call. We'll get you the right one or arrange a return and refund.
If your engine has been upgraded to the 4 wire, or you have an adapter to upgrade the 1984-1990 with the 3 wire, this VRO will interchange. If you have the larger 90 degree fitting with 2 o-rings on the fitting, you've been upgraded beyond this one, to a 1998 or newer pump). If, for any reason, you are confused, please don't hesitate to contact this. We've spent many hours cross-referencing these down, and we can help you! There's very little we can do to test VRO Pumps. If for any reason this should not work flawlessly, we will replace it or refund, as necessary. No questions asked. Again, all you'll need to do is call us. Also, this is a stock photo because we sell a ton of VRO pumps. Given the environment that these are used in, most VRO pumps show some degree of fading. We go over these very carefully to ensure that there is no cracked plastic, the wires are good, and so forth. Faded plastic is considered to be pretty inconsequential, so please understand if the VRO pump you receive looks somewhat faded from use. |
