This specific lower unit is in good condition. We have taken the time to professionally strip and prime this lower unit. This can be left like this, or roughed up for a new coat of paint. Upon our inspection, we did notice that the skeg has been shaved down slightly, but this will not affect the overall performamce. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab, but it does have the zinc anode. There are holes on the cavitation plate, where a planing fin once was. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 18-1/4" long and has 20 splines. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. The splines on both shafts are in great shape. This is the batwing style housing. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Purchase with confidence!
