This lower unit is in great condition. We have inspected this unit to guarantee it to be in great, working condition. This unit shifts and spins smoothly with no binding. The prop shaft is straight. The driveshaft splines are showing a little wear.  The unit had very clean oil which was free from all metal and water.  The gears and clutch are in excellent condition.  The paint has some scuffs and scratches and there is a chip out of the cavitation plate.  The cavitation plate also has holes predrilled.   This unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller and comes with a 1 year warranty. 

Please note:  prior to shipping we are required to remove all oil.  You will need to add oil back to this unit prior to use.   

Driveshaft measures - 19-5/8" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft.
Driveshaft spline count - 17
Prop shaft spline count - 13

  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to help!
