This lower unit is in good condition and is ready for installation. All you have to do is add oil! We have take the time to professionally clean and inspect this item to give you confidence in your purchase. From the top of the water pump to the end, the driveshaft measures approximately 19" long and has 17 splines. The driveshaft has some rust like it's been in saltwater, see pictures. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. All of the splines are in great shape and are not chipped and twisted. As with any used part, this item does has some light scratching and wear in the paint, but this is entirely cosmetic. The skeg is bent slightly and we have straightened this as much as possible. Given our unprecedented 6 month warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!

  • You must return a spinning core to claim this warranty.  We will pay for the return on the core lower unit
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core.
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY.
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase.
You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The 6 month warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. We have a 30-day return policy for all circumstances
