  • The driveshaft measures approximately 21 1/4" from the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft.
  • There are 14 splines on the driveshaft and 14 splines on the propeller shaft.
  • The paint is a little banged up
  • There are holes pre-drilled in the cavitation plate in preparation for a planing fin
  • The unit turns and shifts smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight
  • The skeg guard has been ground down along with the cavitation plate
  • This unit has been fully resealed, pressure checked, with a new impeller installed

    We drain all units of oil prior to shipping.  Please add oil before use. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
